DESCRIPTION:Trail & District Arts Council and SPOOKTACULAR \npresent  \nDiscover Circus at the Bailey Theatre! \nSaturday\, October 28th\nDoors open at 10:30am\nShows at 11 am\, 12 pm\, & 1 pm. FREE! No tickets required!  Just arrive at The Bailey Theatre about 20 minutes before show time and find your way to a seat. Family show appropriate for all ages! \nBailey Theatre joins in the Spooktacular fun with a free show to excite the whole family on your trick or treat trail. \nSpooktacular is a Teck sponsored event at The Bailey Theatre. \nDiscover Circus from Nelson will entertain with colourful circus fun in free 20-minute circus performances. Watch the acrobats as they perform aerial work on silks\, do partner acrobatics\, dance\, and much more! Shows at 11 am\, noon\, and 1 pm. \nEach performance is followed by a 30 min Circus workshop. Learn circus tricks and try out your skills at aerial silks\, rainbow ribbons\, poi\, juggle balls\, tumbling station and hoola hoops with Discover Circus. All ages and skill levels are welcome. \nFor the workshops please bring a comfortable\, form fitted change of clothes with a long-sleeved option. No zippers\, jewelry\, sequins\, perfumes or lotions please. Aerial silks participants are required to sign a waiver prior to trying the rig. \nDiscover Circus is a local social enterprise offering training and community to those who wish to explore the circus arts. It was created\, under the umbrella of the Nelson Circus Performers Association\, by a group of local artists and performers that value artistic expression\, cooperation\, inclusiveness\, and play.  \nThis show is part of the Spooktacular fun for all ages\, including music\, market\, activities and more!
