Just as he is about to launch his own self-improvement video series\, #HiMyNameIsDave\, he discovers major issues with his roof and cracks begin to form in his perfect world. Enter Stevie\, a journeyman roofer with aspirations of being a stand-up comic\, who is the only person capable of dealing with Dave’s narcissistic hyper vigilance. As they attempt to collaborateon the roof project\, Stevie forces Dave to confront his shortcomings and come to terms with what being a good person really means. As their initial views of each other are challenged\, ROOF examines our preconceptions around mental health\, addiction\, and homelessness as the characters are forced to confront their own assumptions. \nCreated and performed by Lucas Myers\, the creator of A Beginners Guide to Nelsonia\, CAMPGROUND and DECK. \nPlease note: This performance is not suitable for children. \nThere will be a short post-show chat\, free naloxone kits will be distributed and a counselor will be on location to help anyone who needs to talk. \nAudience Responses:\n“Sometimes life lessons come from the most unexpected places.
