DESCRIPTION:Due to the Province-wide restrictions announced yesterday by Dr. Bonnie Henry\, we are required to cancel both of our performances by Hornography on Saturday\, November 28. Our box office staff will contact ticket holders directly about their tickets. Thank you for your ongoing understanding\, and your continued support of live performance. Please stay safe and healthy. We look forward to having you back in the theatre. \nTrail and Disctrict Arts Council’s Six Beats Apart Series presents HORNOGRAPHY \nHornography is a nine-piece horn driven band that performs music that is best described as a musical groovathon. The five-piece horn section\, supported by drums\, percussion\, electric bass and guitar\, plays original music composed by saxophonist Clinton Swanson. Inspired by the sounds of world beat and funk artists such as Fela and Maceo Parker\, Hornography delivers worldly grooves\, powerhouse horn arrangements\, and creative improv. \nBand Members include tenor sax – Krispen Elder on tenor sax\, Rick Lingard on alto sax\, Clinton Swanson on baritone sax\, Michael Perkins on trumpet\, Keith Todd on trombone\, Mark Spielman on electric bass\, Rich Rabnett on electric guitar\, Al Black on percussion\, and Tony Ferraro on drums. \n“Hornography is an experience you do not want to miss! Nothing but deep grooves and tight horn lines to keep you moving.” Aidan Farrelly\, artistic director of the Kaslo Jazz etc. Festival \n“Hornography ended up being one of the smash hits of the year at a major international festival with over 300 gigs\, which is no small feat!” Rainbow Robert\, Manager of Artistic Programming\, Vancouver International Jazz Festival \nTickets are $25 and on sale from noon on Tuesday\, September 8th. Tickets may be purchased online 24/7 or by calling the Box Office at 250-368-9669 from Monday to Friday 12-4 pm. Only individuals in the same household\, or your “double bubble”\, may be seated together. Tell us who you would like to sit with in the ‘comments’ section when purchasing your tickets on-line. \nFor the safety and comfort of our staff\, performers and audience members\, all attendees must abide by our COVID protocols. \nCOVID Protocols: \nMaximum of fifty people per show.\nOnly individuals in the same household\, or your “double bubble”\, may be seated together. Tell us who you would like to sit with in the ‘comments’ section when purchasing your tickets on-line. Or call us at the box office 250-368-9669.\nPhysically distanced seatings between ‘bubbles’. All shows are General Admission so that we can better manage physical distancing.\nAll patrons must wear a mask until seated. We encourage you to wear your mask throughout the performance.\nOnce seated\, you must stay seated until the end of the performance. We will not have an intermission or concession/bar services. \nOur box office is closed to the public. Physical tickets will NOT be issued for our Six Beats Apart performances.
